TWO MEN IN A BOAT

There’s nothing so special as two men in a boat

Sharing their lives together while being afloat.

My friend, dear Milton, always in view

As I share my emotions, and so should you.

That’s the way it works with a friend and a mate

That what makes a friendship great.

He may be away, but he’s very near

A man and a life we both hold so dear.

He’s here today. He’s here tomorrow.

The memory is joy, no room for sorrow.
